People resist or react to the pressures of the market, while sustaining “life projects” of their own, embodying their own local history, visions, and strategies.
We as the Community Development Foundation take the community as actors, not victims, as its starting point in analyzing the development of itself.
We try to assemble a rich diversity of statements, case studies, and wider thematic explorations in order to create a sustainable development of our community, primarily the youth.
This is why we want to create opportunities by putting emphasis on developing local capacity as the key to empower the citizens of Curaçao.
